It all started when…
A super cool someone encouraged me to “re-design” my weekly calendar, grouping like tasks/meetings, adding focus blocks of time and scheduling in things that energize me so I can show up as my BEST SELF for my teams at work and my family.
Outside of DANCING, one thing that fills my cup is having lunch and good convos with old and new friends. I recently googled something like “science behind social eating, mental health benefits” which led me to projects like The Big Lunch! and articles such as this one, Social Eating Connects Communities (Oxford University) which notes:
Research has revealed that the more often people eat with others the more likely they are to feel happy and satisfied with their lives.
Ian and I already make sure we eat most all meals with the kids as a family, but I’d love to make more room in the week to connect outside of the home!
